  Why don't JWs observe Kosher laws? or Should JWs eat that juicy steak?

  according to ajwrb.com, even a thorough bleeding of a slaughtered animal leaves as much as 50% of its blood in the flesh.... since jws are so emphatic about not "taking in blood" when it comes to blood transfusions, what is their reasoning for not observing kosher laws, at least with regard to the draining of the blood?

  do most jws feel conflicted over eating a juicy and bloody rare steak?

  is there any official prohibition against this?

  witnesses believe it would be a transgression against jehovah's sanctity of blood to give your pet a blood transfusion....even though it's an animal, blood is to be poured out on the ground and not used in any manner.

  I think it's very telling that a guy running for president spouts, "I served in Vietnam" nearly every second sentence. That's after being a career anit-Vietnam war protester and lying about what took place there. Can there be more of an empty suit than that? This guy is a zero, all he can do is marry rich women. Now that may be a useful skill but it hardly qualifies you to be president.

  Oh no, Saddam was no threat to the outside world. Tell it to the Kurds, the Iranians, the Kuwaitis, the Saudis, the Israelis, there are probably a few more as well. But of coures he'd never do anyting like that again, I mean the fact that his entire history shows that he's done that kind of thing repeatedly any time he thought he could get away with it completely mitigates the idea that he might do it again doesn't it.

  From what I've seen Realist I'd say you're one of the worlds foremost experts on bullshit, you're a veritable fountain of the stuff.

  Then there's the little matter of the battle Kerry's web site says he was involved in but the people that were there say he wasn't, and the fact that on at least one of his 'wound' his commanding officer said he'd seen worse pricks from a rose bush. Apparently a whole bunch of stuff is going to come out on Kerry's 'distinguished' war record that won't be very pretty. Every Vietnam vet that I've talked to says that many medals in four months is complete bullshit, of course I'll yield to your expertise in that particular area.
